FAQ

When Will I See Results?

You should start to see / feel results in 4-7 days. Some people are faster than others and some take up to two weeks for final results to settle in.

Why does my head hurt?

Headaches happen after about 10% of injections and are completely normal. If you are not bruising, we recommend taking 500mg of Tylenol and 200mg ibuprofen; you can also try some caffeine.

Am I going to bruise?

Bruising is uncommon with Botox injections. If you do think you are getting a bruise, avoid caffeine, ibuprofen and alcohol — these can make it worse! Try icing the area or taking an Arnica pill to heal faster.

Why do I have small bumps on my skin?

Little bumps are completely normal and should resolve within 30 mins of injection. Occasionally, a bump can last a day or two, often the result of a bruise. Try icing the area.

Think you need a touch up?

While we do recommend waiting two weeks for final results, if you do feel like you need a follow up let us know via text or email.

Why do I feel so bubbly?

You may be experiencing the *champagne effect*! Botox has shown to make people feel a bit bubbly and more confident.

Just Plumped, What Now?

Immediately after treatment, your skin will show slight redness as if you just had a facial, but will be back to normal in approximately 15 minutes. You should avoid laying down for 3 to 4 hours and wait 24 hours to workout. That means no exercise, yoga, or face down positions for the remainder of the day. You can resume your normal skin conditioning and hydrating routine today.

Timing, Feeling and Results

A Plump Wrinkle Releaser appointment takes 15-30 minutes, but most of the time is spent on the consultation and checking in. We’re only injecting for about 3-5 minutes, and guess what? Patients rank it as a 1 out of 10 on the pain scale.

Results will show in about 5-7 days and last around 3 months, but can vary slightly from person to person.
